SellHub Market ("SellHub", "we", "us") operates an online platform that lets sellers create stores and lets customers buy from those stores. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored securely) when you sign up as a customer or seller.
- Google account info: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to create or log in to your account.
- Store and order information: products listed, orders placed, delivery addresses, and order history.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Paystack, our licensed payment partner. We do not store your card or bank details ourselves — Paystack handles that securely.
- Usage information: basic technical data such as browser type and device, used to keep the platform working properly.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account
- To process orders, payments, and withdrawals
- To send order confirmations, One-Time Passwords (OTPs), and important account notices by email or WhatsApp
- To provide customer support
- To keep the platform safe and prevent fraud
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With Paystack, to process payments and payouts
- Between a buyer and seller, as needed to complete and deliver an order
- When required by law
Data storage and security
Your information is stored on secure servers. We take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized access, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by contacting us using the details below.
Children's privacy
SellHub Market is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
